“ Went for 35 fixed menu and was surprised by their portion. Mussels were really delicious and I wish I didn’t eat all the bread with olive oil but with the juice instead. Veal pasta was really hot, which is very very very rare in Italian restaurants and I love my food served hot. Definitely will come back ”

“ Beautifully decorated with an amazing view of the lake/pond. Food was scrumptious especially the shrimp pasta special which had an amazing blend of fresh herbs, it lit up my taste buds! highly recommend the chocolate cake dessert which was served warm with vanilla ice cream. The only thing I would suggest to change (I've seen other restaurants do this) is that there was plenty of free tables, but hostess tried to seat people right adjacent to us, which would have crowded us. Thankfully both times, those ppl decided to seat elsewhere. ”

I didn't end up eating too much food because I had a late lunch, but I have to say the calamari was the best I've had in New York for many years. Perfectly, perfectly cooked and flavored. The mussels were also outstanding. Lots of pasta dishes to choose from. We ate family style with several dishes, served in the middle of the table and folks serving themselves. Pro tip: Don't forget dessert! Our waiter was attentive but also allowed us to eat in peace. The manager Frank was also great. The ambiance of this place was fantastic. Both inside and outside looked like it was part of a movie. We sat near the window that faced the lake. I wish we had sat outside so we could enjoy the fresh air and the hanging lights but both were great options. Very romantic and cozy. ”

On one recent occasion my wife left her handbag on the restaurant table and, as we were walking down the street towards our car, we heard the waitress chasing after us- returning the bag. What a relief, especially after such a glorious meal. You can't do much better than that! ”
